Title: Splunk developer

Location: Winston Salem, NC.

Duration: Long term Contract

Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for source data/log analysis and design, development, integration and management of Splunk dashboard in addition to a variety of other tasks.

Responsibilities:

Ø Experience on Data collection from various systems/servers

Ø System log / source data analysis

Ø Technical Design of index, search heads, procedures, alerts and dashboards

Ø Knowledge of standardized Splunk agent deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX

Ø Knowledge of troubleshooting Splunk agent & receivers problems and issues

Ø Mentor and train Splunk users and administrators where required

Ø Monitor the agent and server infrastructure for optimization

Ø Design core Systems performance and troubleshooting logs

Ø Perform other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

Ø Minimum 5~6 years of experience using Splunk, preferably 6.2.4 version

Ø Strong Understanding of cloud-computing concepts

Ø Basic understanding of AIX, Solaris, Linux

Ø Good verbal and written communication is a must (Client Facing Role)
