Myrrh is mentioned in hadith for fumigation, read our page below.

It is such a strong medicinal resin that when a small amount is added to a herbal blend, Myrrh's taste dominates & is clearly felt over others. Myrrh is a powerful detoxifier, lowers cholesterol & it stabilizes blood sugar levels (used in formula D & D2).

Al-Razi wrote that it is beneficial for kidney and bladder pain, relieves swelling, and eliminates bloating, colic, uterine pain, and joint pain. It also acts as a remedy for poisons, expels worms, reduces spleen swelling, and dissolves tumors. In his 'Al-Mansuri,' Al-Razi also mentions that it induces sleep and alleviates scorpion stings when consumed.

Ibn Sina wrote that Myrrh prevents decay, to the extent that it preserves the dead from rotting and changes in odor. It dries raw excesses (bodily fluids).
