Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned Henna Water as a remedy for leprosy, while Dawood Antaki wrote that it helps to open bodily blockages, supports the treatment of jaundice, reduces spleen enlargement, assists in breaking down kidney stones, and acts as a natural diuretic.
Henna is considered a cooling herb. Consuming Henna Water for a few days may help soothe stomach ulcers and reduce acidity. When carefully combined with other herbs, it helps to control bleeding associated with internal wounds such as piles and heavy menstrual flow.
We believe that excessive internal heat; often linked to diets heavy in animal proteins, fats & refined carbs can contribute to organ stress and damage. Henna is traditionally valued for its cooling properties, which may help restore balance within the body.
A commonly observed effect of Henna Water is that the first urine passed may appear dark green in color. Even when Henna is applied externally as Khazaab to the hair or feet, pure Henna is believed to be absorbed through the skin and enter the bloodstream, sometimes producing a similar greenish tint in the urine, this explains the power of Henna Masha’Allah.
Our D2 Formula contains a carefully controlled amount of Henna leaves. Each teaspoon provides approximately 0.47 g of Henna, a small yet potent quantity that contributes to the blend’s effectiveness.
Whenever we refer to Henna, we mean dried Henna leaves. We do not use commercially prepared Henna powders, as they are often adulterated with artificial colors, chemicals, and other contaminants.
Freshly dried henna leaves are predominantly green in color, but as they age, their color gradually changes to brown.
