Tibb-e-Nabawi diet, article # 14 ~ Whole BARLEY
Barley is repeated again & again in various Tibb-e-Nabawi foods, the blessed Barley bread itself, Thareed, Saweeq drink (Sattu), Talbinah, Hasaa, Barley Water, Barley soups, & Hais with barley’s Saweeq & dates. We eat & drink Barley with a BLIND TRUST.
Unfortunately, Barley is the least adopted by Muslims, even those who make Talbinah use the pearl barley which is the wrong method. Almost all people use milk in Talbinah; which was never ever a compulsory ingredient.
Some Muslims make Thareed with wheat bread, again a false choice, you have to analyze the hidden wisdom behind making Thareed, the hot natured mutton should be neutralized with a cold natured bread ~ the blessed ~ whole Barley bread.
So, with Tibb-e-Nabawi diet, we train you how to use the Whole barley in various foods Insha'Allah.
You should know that unlike wheat & other grains which are hot & mildly moist in nature, the blessed Barley is cold & dry natured.
Have you ever thought that if a wheat bread dough with 100 gm of wheat flour needs 60-65 ml of water for kneading, why does the blessed Barley bread dough with 100 gm of flour need 100 ml of water ?
