I am sending the 1st method of Gulqand preparation.
Persian rose was cleaned, the lower green part & seeds were removed; & the petals were ground like a powder, for 50 grams powder, I added 100 grams of عسل الشوكة
But the paste was hard, at that instance, I remembered Rohmon Bin Musa, in his formulation for Dabeedul Ward, Honey was added 3 times the weight of herbs.
So, I added 50 grams of Honey again, making the Gulab to Honey ratio as 1:3
This is the Gulqand made with dried petals & Honey. Because there is no water, the mixture will have a shelf life of at least 4 months (without preservatives) at room temperature.

When I make Kalonji+Saffron compound, Honey is kept as twice the weight of Kalonji, the ratio of 1:2 works well, probably because Kalonji is not as dry as the rose petals (Kalonji has some oil).

Previously, you have eaten the dirty Gulqand (usually in Meetha Paan) made with sugar, when you consume Honey Gulqand, you will be surprised by the healing it provides.
Persian rose called Gol-e-Muhammadi ~ غنچه گل محمدی is a special blessing which very few people are aware of.
