Isa Alaih as Salam used the Barley bread

The blessed Barley bread has been the food of Ambiaa ~ Prophets, any substance selected by Allah for the highest ranked people (Messengers) feels so special & precious.
Saying of Isa Alaih as Salam is mentioned in Imam Malik’s Mu’atta as under:
كتاب صفة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْمَاءِ الْقَرَاحِ وَالْبَقْلِ الْبَرِّيِّ وَخُبْزِ الشَّعِيرِ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَخُبْزَ الْبُرِّ فَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَقُومُوا بِشُكْرِهِ .
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Isa ibn Maryam used to say, "O Banu Israil! You must drink pure water and the green things of the land and barley bread . Beware of wheat bread, for you will not be grateful enough for it."
Mu’atta Malik
Isa Alaih as Salam also used the blessed Barley bread. But can you provide the meaning of his words “Beware of wheat bread, for you will not be grateful enough for it”.
