A question was asked :

On his Hijrah to Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam was accompanied with Abu Bakr Al-Siddique Radi Allaho Anh. Do you know if someone else was with them ? Were they 3 OR 4 OR 5 in total ? And if you know the names of others ????

Seerat Ibn-e-Hishaam narrates that they were 4 in total :
  1. Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam
  2. Abu Bakr Al-Siddique Radi Allaho Anh
  3. Amir Bin Fuhairah Radi Allaho Anh (slave of Abu Bakr Al-Siddique Radi Allaho Anh)
  4. The master-mind of Hijrah route, Abdullah Bin Uraiqit Al-Leethi ~ A MUSHRIK, who was taken as a GUIDE
Abdullah Bin Uraiqit knew the desert more than anyone else in Makkah, he was an experienced man who had also drawn many maps.

So he was given the command to select a special route, & he managed the turns & deviation from the patent Tareeq-ul-Qawaafil (Caravaan route), & once you will go to Tareeq-al-Hijrah, you will realize his skills & wisdom, it was impossible for any person to design the route for 400 km, taking deviations inside the desert with avoiding high mountains & HARRAH as obstacles for the camel to climb, it was a difficult task but ohhhh, Uraiqit was a miracle.

Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam had kept his Hijrah as a secret, no one knew in which direction he had traveled, although the way to Madinah was from Tan'eem & Sarif in the north of Makkah, but our beloved Prophet started the journey from Ghar-e-Thaur which is towards the south, near to the route which goes to Yemen, giving a hint that he was traveling to south.

Mushrikeen had announced a bounty of 100 camels for finding Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam.

It is not written anywhere in the books but I have a feeling.

Abdullah Bin Uraiqit had also known the reward for 100 camels, so I think that he was paid a heavy price for keeping the HIJRAH as confidential, the price had been more than the value of 100 camels. And who paid that cost ? He was Abu Bakr Radi Allaho Anh.

Abu Qahafa who was a blind man asked his granddaughters that what Abu Bakr has left for us ? Asmaa' Radi Allaho Anha says that she kept small rocks in the cabinet, covered them with a cloth & brought Abu Qahafa, he moved his hand over the cloth & felt that they were some Dinaars & Dirhams. Asmaa' Radi Allaho Anh says that his father never left even a single penny in his house, he took all the money.

Abu Bakr Radi Allaho Anh was a rich man, but where his wealth disappeared ? So this is my feeling, major portion of the wealth went to Abdullah Bin Uraiqit, & few Dinnars were kept for the journey. It is my own prediction & Allah knows the best.

After Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam reached Madinah, Abdullah Bin Uraiqit returned to Makkah, many Ulamaa's say that he died as a Mushrik, only Imam Shamsuddin Zahabi wrote in his "TAJREED" that Uraiqit accepted Islaam......
