The 74 mountains of Makkah that hold the Anṣaab al-Ḥaram are immensely blessed and sacred. Prophet Ibrahim Alaih as-Salam and angel Jibreel climbed these mountains while establishing the markers (Anṣaab) of the Ḥaram boundary, and Jabal Namirah is one of those honored mountains, it has 21 Ansaab (989 to 1010).
Whenever I go to the Mashaaʿir ~ مشاعر المقدسة , I can recognize Jabal Namirah from a far distance. It appears as though it is wrapped in Noor, shining like silver from afar. Beneath this mountain lies the rock under which Prophet Muhammad ﷺ rested for a short while. It feels as though this rock was once a part of the mountain itself; before it separated and descended, destined to provide shade for Khayru Khalqillāh ﷺ.
I am sharing the videos of this rock, along with two videos of Anṣaab #1007 and #1009, so that you may better visualize the Noor, majesty, and spiritual value that Jabal Namirah carries.
Jabal Namirah has a unique C-shaped formation. Its northern side is not very high, but the southern portion rises steeply and is extremely difficult to climb due to the massive boulders that are nearly impossible to cross. But thanks to Allah, He granted courage and strength to my son, enabling him to climb Jabal Namirah and preserve rare pictures and videos from its summit.
