Dear all,

First of all:
Once more I like to inform you that, when I am finished implementing all calculations needed for various types of horoscopes, I will makes these calculations available as open source ( after documenting etc. ).

I will not make available as open source the Tibetan Horoscope program using these calculations.

What I expected implementing the calculations which I do not understand was some help explaining what to do.
I raised a lot of questions but only a few are answered ( maybe a fool can raise more questions than a wise man can answer ).
Further I expected that by supplying the Tibetan Horoscope program which shows all the calculations that you should check if the calculations are correct and if not inform me. I did not get any comment about that so have to expect that all calculations are right.
Edward mentioned that I do not get comments because I do not supply source code. This is something like the chicken and the egg what was first.

When I supply the source code as used there is no way at all to see any of the calculations as you must have a user interface to show the results.

As an example I will send what I call the TibCal class to Chönyi. If you like to put this on github it's ok for me. Actually this class is the calendar program from Edward ported to C# making data available through function calls. You can inform this class to behave for Phugpa, Tsurphu or Sherab-ling. Once done the calls for all traditions are the same.
If you look into the class you will see that there is NO output at all. The user interface program part calls the class and shows the result. Working this way you can very easy show the results in any language you like as you only need a language resource file for the translation.

It should of course be possible to write a program giving options what you like to see and showing the results of the various calculations, but this is just what the Tibetan Horoscope program is doing.

If you look at the directories of the Tibetan Horoscope program there is a directory already
C:\Tibetan Horoscope\bo    which is for Tibetan language. ( 'nl' for Dutch and 'en' for English )

I asked Tenzang to do the translation as I can not read/write Tibetan.

Finally looking into all discussions I believe that most of you are mainly interested in the calendar calculations where I use the calendar as a starting point for the horoscopes.

I do hope that this clarifies everything and if not I still continue my development.

Kees
