I expect that the text "ox, dog, sheep, dragon" in all element columns
must be "dog, dragon" as otherwise the ox and sheep will have two year
types at the same time.
Also the text on page 64 explains for the wood element 'the dog and
dragon years are in a friend relation'.

Just to let you know that Gyurme Dorje has subscribed yesterday, so
he'll certainly be able to answer some questions. For those interested,

All four animals ox, dog, dragon and sheep are included in the chart because
the earth element which they represent forms a mother, son, friend or enemy
relationship with the other elements, as indicated on p. 63. I think there's
no contradiction in these animal signs being repeated in the context of the
greater or lesser penalty, which denote the dur and bdun zur relationships
respectively.
