What I expected already back in 2011 is that only very very very few people are really interested in Tibetan astrology.
Up till now nobody out of this group ( crying loud in 2011 for open source code ) logged on at www.tibastro.be and asked for the developers role giving them possibilities to download the classes for various calculations and sample code how to use the classes. The downloads even have an installation program for a western to Tibetan date conversion program for Phugpa, Tsurphu, Generalised Error correction, Mkhas pai and new Genden calculation based upon Edward Henning open source.
Searching the internet for similar programs I did not find them giving information with possibilities to enter data and seeing the results.
So I like you to know that I am a bit ( a bit ? ) disappointed about your cooperation and interest in developing a Tibetan Astrology Horoscope program.
Maybe astrologers are afraid that the program can do what, they think, only they can do. If this is the case it is very easy to make parts of the program only available for astrologers using rules.
So after giving my opinion about developing Tibetan Astrology programs I will still continue to develop as much as I can.
You can still have a look at
register for free ( if you have not done yet ) and logon and see what is done so far.
If you do not like to register there is a lot of general information available like calculation for Elements, Signs, Mewa, Parkha, Logmen, etc.

I've lost my email address in early 2012, and it took me awhile to realize what happened. I was out of the loop for a couple of years.
As soos as I got back I asked if I could contribute in any way.
I am a programmer and a student of Buddhism. I did not get a meaningful reply.
I receive updates on your progress, but I can't participate in development - am I missing something?

Eugene,

I will add you to the role "develop"  as well as to "ClassTest" and "NewFac" . This will give you the possibility after logon to www.tibastro.be to enter the otherwise hidden possibilities for "test classes" and "downloads". By elements you will see a new under development item "Current year" to find logmen, BabsSpar and Papme.
What I do need is people really looking into the methods ( not the source ) if they produce the right results. The source is included, so if there is an error you can correct it if you are capable or send me the error and I will correct it.
I did not give test facilities for all methods, so there is what a programmer can do.
Also people who want the program to be available in other languages than English and Dutch I can give them the resource files for a language translation. There is a hidden role to see some Tibetan language ( just to show it is possible to have the program in Tibetan as well ), but I do need a translator to do a complete translation. The program itself is prepared for any language which is translated.
Anyway have a look.
