Not being a gutless manager/boss and deciding to be a leader instead by demonstrating the value of getting your hands dirty, is a philosophy I want to spread to anyone who decides to be a leader.

An overly critical boss can turn your dream job into your worst nightmare. But whatever your career path, you deserve to feel safe, respected, and valued at work. Learn what you can do to turn a bad boss situation around.

You need to change the World Boss event to allow us access to each portal!!! Many many many of us can't get past Level 6 of the first portal! A boss with 120,000 life is ridiculous!!! Are the dev's trying to get people to quit??? Let me here your thoughts!

I think this is a test run for World Boss. It would be nice for all five portals to be opened at the same time. I can barely beat the level 1 boss so I cannot really add anything else for them to improve.

I am at 10/25 of the blue portal and the snow dragon HP is 608k. I have enough strength and enough HP to outlast it but I ran into the problem that you only get 10 rounds to kill the monster before you are automatically killed. The best I have got is to get it down to 48k HP after my 10th turn. I hope they remove the 10 turn limit as it's pretty frustrating. Also even if I get past this one I doubt I'd have a chance on 11/25, I don't know what that HP is going to be but it's been making huge leaps in the last few rounds.

You made lvl 10 You must have at least 4+ mythic girl. I have no payment method in our country so I never pay one cent and never could get a mythic girl except the basic ones. I went through 7 lvl and hardly could go 8.

I GOT IT!!! If you have Sheela na gig girl, and equip her with 5 Libido stone, she will make 10x damage. That mean you can make 700k+ damage at one single turn. I can easily get through water treasure cave now

The document was stamped -- in red letters -- with the words "DO NOT REPRODUCE" and "FOR MANAGEMENT EYES ONLY." Even so, I have decided, at vast risk to my career and life, to post its contents for all to see.

Fortunately, the document also contained (in the form of warnings to the boss) advice on how a smart employee can overcome the trick and even play it to advantage. So get ready to have your eyes opened, and learn how to make sure your boss doesn't play you like a used accordion.

Squeamish bosses who are uncomfortable with their authority are setting themselves up for failure. Leaders must embrace their role and set the expectation that everyone on their team is a subordinate who must deliver on their responsibilities. It must be clear that letting your boss down is a failure.

Being a great leader includes mentoring and tending to the needs of your subordinates. Help and support them in their effort to deliver results. This makes holding them accountable more palatable, and is likewise a part of being a great leader.

The Dirty Colossus, found at the end of the Swamp of Sorrow in the Leechmonger Archstone, is a foul creature indeed. Covered from head to toe in the runoff from the swamp it resides in, the creature is surrounded on all sides by flies. A mid to late game boss, this creature is extremely weak to fire and can be easily outsmarted by quick movement.

This is the simplest approach to this fight. With a ranged build, keep your distance, dodging when the boss uses its own ranged attack and hitting back with a spell or an arrow. Once again, use fire if you can. Spells like Soul Ray make this fight an extremely easy endeavor.

For the melee approach to this fight, you will need to keep two things in mind. Firstly, fire is key. Using fire, be it a Pine Resin, a Dragon weapon, or fire magic, will allow you to do huge damage in this fight.

Dirty Colossus is a Boss in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Bosses are special enemies that feature their own arena, a large and prominent health bar with its name indicated, a variety of unique moves and abilities, an ambient boss theme, and an Archstone that appears upon their death. Most bosses appear once the player passes through a fog gate nearby.

Welcome to the Dirty Colossus boss fight. Similar to the previous fight against the Leechmonger, this is a pretty simple fight if you know what's happening and what to do. If you have no clue and go in blind there are a couple of little things that will make this fight incredibly annoying and frustrating.

With that said, we are fighting the Dirty Colossus and a huge open area that is first filled with wooden beams and planks that are destroyable. He'll actually be destroying these for you. There's several torches all around the area that are made from Depraved Ones, which is kind of unsettling. These are very, VERY important. There are also parts of the floor missing and instead you have swamp... so that means no rolling or sprinting, which can be deadly.

The Dirty Colossus being the colossus that he is, he's resistant most physical attacks, but he's somewhat weak to magic and EXTREMELY weak to fire. If you have Firebombs this is the place to use them. It is also the perfect opportunity to use those Black Pine Resin you got throughout the marsh. These last less than regular Pine Resin but the effect is incredible. This makes fighting the Colossus very easy as you can deplete 33% of his HP in a single attack spree.

Now onto the Dirty Colossus himself (itself?). He only has a handful of attacks, but all of them are pretty easy to spot, meaning you'll have time to react to each of them. He hits hard, very hard and even if you try to block his attack, if your Endurance is not high enough you'll end up with no stamina after one of his hits. Dodge rolling is heavily recommended in the fight, as is walking in circles around him. Moving counterclockwise around him is best as you can avoid most of his melee attacks (which he uses with his right arm that looks like a club).

Fly Cannon: this attack is probably the one everyone hates the most. He shoots "balls" of flies at you from his left arm and if you're hit then they'll stick to your body and will start eating at you, constantly draining your HP. This can be deadly if left alone so you need to get rid of them.

How to do it? Well, remember I said the torches around the arena are very important? Yeah, this is why. Approach a torch and you'll burn yourself for a tiny fraction of your health, but it also burns away all of the flies. Heal right after and continue the fight.

Fly Burst: if you spend too much time behind the Dirty Colossus he'll create a little explosion made out of flies, knocking you back and covering you with flies. Run to a torch right away and heal up.

The Demon bosses in Demon's Souls are the hardest and most stressful part of the whole affair. Filling up on souls in the stage prior only to have to prove yourself against a giant enemy with a massive health bar to match is almost always a daunting task.

But don't worry, in this Demon's Souls guide we'll have you covered by breaking down each of the game's bosses and the best way to approach them. Take a deep breath, have a look at the tips below, and try your best to enjoy yourself and the challenge that the bosses pose.

The Dirty Colossus' attacks are extremely slow and almost pathetic. It'll slowly wind up before attacking, and all of its swings are easily avoided by sidestepping a few paces. You can dodge roll instead if you're cutting things close, but it shouldn't be hard to avoid damage from its direct attacks if you stay mobile.

The main thing to worry about when going up against the Dirty Colossus are the insect clouds it'll toss at you. It isn't a big deal if they hit you, but (just like the Leechmonger's leeches) they'll sap away your HP and leave you dead if you aren't careful. Keep that health bar high with whatever healing grasses you've got to stay safe.

You technically can't damage the Dirty Colossus without destroying the barrel it's encased itself with, but there's no real need to worry about it since it'll break pretty easily with any fire attack you use. It has a pretty hefty health bar, but any fire attack should melt right through it. A sword buffed with Pine Resin or a fire spell will make quick work of the Dirty Colossus and get you its unique Demon's Soul in no time flat.

Are the bosses in this area really pushovers compared to the actual content of the stages beforehand? Tell us we're not crazy in the comments below. For more on boss weaknesses and other helpful hints, take a look at the rest of our Demon's Souls guide.
