Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in enterprise networking, security, and data center operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions (VeloCloud).
This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure across campus and data center environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure for campus and data center environments.
· Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
· Deploy and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Panorama management platform.
· Implement and support SD-WAN solutions, particularly VMware VeloCloud.
· Manage and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
· Configure and maintain VPN solutions (Site-to-Site and Remote Access).
· Administer Cisco ISE and NAC solutions, including 802.1X authentication.
· Manage F5 Load Balancers and ensure optimal application delivery.
· Monitor network performance and security to ensure high availability and compliance with industry standards.
· Support network segmentation, Zero Trust security models, and micro-segmentation strategies.
· Participate in network architecture planning and solution deployment aligned with business goals.
· Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex network issues.
· Work closely with vendors, contractors, facilities teams, and internal stakeholders.
· Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
· Follow ITIL-based change management and service management processes.
Required Skills & Experience
· 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking and data center operations.
· Strong expertise with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
· Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ASA firewalls.
· Experience supporting SD-WAN solutions, particularly VMware VeloCloud.
· Solid understanding of network protocols and technologies including:
· Experience with Cisco ISE and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
· Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, VPN, security, and SD-WAN environments.
· Experience building and maintaining data rooms/server rooms including rack, power, cooling, and cabling coordination.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work in rotational shifts, including on-call support.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX).
· Experience with F5 Load Balancers.
· Familiarity with Zero Trust security architecture and micro-segmentation.
· Experience working with global enterprise network environments.
Preferred Certifications
· CCNP Enterprise
· PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
· ITIL Certification
