Job Title: Java J2EE Technical Lead
Location :- Remote
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java J2EE Technical Lead with strong expertise in enterprise application development and proven experience migrating applications from C#/.NET to Java/J2EE platforms. The ideal candidate will lead architecture design, modernization initiatives, and guide development teams in transforming legacy .NET systems into scalable, high-performance Java-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
🔹 Technical Leadership
· Lead end-to-end migration from C#/.NET to Java/J2EE.
· Define target architecture and modernization roadmap.
· Provide technical guidance to development teams.
· Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
🔹 Migration & Modernization
· Analyse existing .NET architecture, dependencies, and integrations.
· Map C#/.NET components to Java equivalents.
· Refactor business logic and redesign services where necessary.
· Convert ASP.NET applications to Java-based frameworks.
· Support database migration and query optimization.
🔹 Architecture & Development
· Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java/J2EE.
· Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
· Implement security using Spring Security or equivalent frameworks.
· Optimize application performance and scalability.
· Lead monolith-to-microservices transformation (if applicable).
🔹 DevOps & Deployment
· Implement CI/CD pipelines.
· Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
· Collaborate with cloud teams (AWS/Azure/GCP).
· Manage build tools (Maven/Gradle).
🔹 Collaboration
· Work with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements.
· Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and database teams.
· Provide technical documentation and migration strategy documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
· 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development
· 3+ years in a technical lead role.
· Experience in application migration or modernization projects
· Strong experience in enterprise-level system architecture.
· Strong knowledge of Core Java, Servlets, JSP, JDBC
· Working knowledge of C# and .NET framework architecture
· Experience in RESTful services and microservices architecture
· Proficiency with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
· Familiarity with build tools such as Apache Maven or Gradle
· Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
· Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
· Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
· Experience in large-scale enterprise migrations
