Role Description:
Strong experience in Oracle EBS R12 architecture.
Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, Unix shell scripting.
Experience using Oracle APIs, open interfaces, and data migration tools.
Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, and OAF (optional but preferred).
Familiarity with ETL processes and large-volume data handling.
Analyze legacy system data structures and define conversion strategy and mapping rules.
Create staging tables, validation scripts, and automated data transformation routines.
Prepare test cases for dry runs and reconciliation.
Conduct unit, system integration, UAT, and cutover testing.
Perform data quality checks before and after migration.
Work with functional consultants to ensure converted data meets business rules.
Prepare conversion design documents (MD50, MD70), mapping sheets, and validation scripts.
Maintain conversion logs, error reports, and reconciliation sheets.
Provide go‑live cutover support and post‑production troubleshooting.
Work with cross-functional business teams to gather requirements.
Coordinate with DBAs and infrastructure teams on performance tuning.
Communicate progress, risks, and issues to project managers and stakeholders.
Customize/debug:
Forms, Reports (BI Publisher / XML Publisher)
Oracle workflow & Concurrent programs
