Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join a fast-paced development team supporting enterprise-level applications at Charles Schwab. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend development, modern frontend technologies, and hands-on experience building scalable microservices architectures.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a strong understanding of financial or enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks
• Build and implement microservices-based architectures
• Develop batch processing solutions using Spring Batch
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch
• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and web services
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Experience in financial services or enterprise-level environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
