Job Title: IAM / Active Directory Architect

Location: Charlotte, NC / Chandler, AZ / Irving, TX / Iselin, NJ

Contract

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Microsoft Active Directory (AD DS, AD CS, AD FS)
• Expertise in Azure AD / Entra ID and Hybrid Identity
• Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or CyberArk
• Advanced PowerShell scripting
• Strong understanding of RBAC, Least Privilege, Access Governance, and Compliance
• Experience with AD-based database authentication (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise IAM and Active Directory architecture.
• Establish standards for service accounts, groups, roles, and permissions.
• Provide architectural guidance and approvals for remediation initiatives.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex IAM/AD design decisions.
• Engage with security, audit, and leadership teams in a regulated banking environment.
• Present architecture decisions, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years in Banking/Financial Services environments.
• Proven experience leading enterprise IAM remediation and modernization programs.
