Job Title: ETL Report Developer

We are seeking an experienced ETL Report Developer to build, test, and deploy system components supporting an Open Payment initiative for a large transportation system. The role involves designing and implementing ETL processes, ensuring accurate data reporting, and supporting data integration across enterprise systems. The developer will work with detailed architecture and design documentation provided by the implementation vendor.
The Open Payment solution will enable customers to pay transit fares using their own contactless payment methods such as bank cards, allowing tap-and-pay access for rail, bus, and parking services without requiring a proprietary transit card.
Design, automate, and support applications for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Develop and maintain data warehousing, data integration, and data migration processes.
Perform data modeling design, analysis, and implementation including conceptual, logical, and physical models.
Create logical and physical data flow models for ETL applications.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of enterprise data.
Support data import and integration from vendor cloud systems.
Collaborate with development teams to coordinate software requirements and system architecture.
Assist with system hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.
Document application architecture and workflows using visualization tools.
5+ years of application architecture and software development experience.
5+ years of experience working with enterprise reporting and data systems.
5+ years of experience using Microsoft Visio or similar tools for documenting application architecture.
5+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel for software requirements documentation.
Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, business intelligence, and data integration.
Strong experience with data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical).
Experience coordinating software requirements with development teams.
Proven ability to plan and deploy complex custom application solutions.
Experience documenting architecture relationships using Visio and Moqups.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to proactively identify issues and ensure project milestones are met.
Experience supporting application architecture from conception to deployment.
Experience with Business Process Management administration and architecture is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, Communications, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
