Hi,

I am interested to know what model/type of pens or markers do you all use with TI-Rover?

I am looking for specific brands and types - for example, “Expo Fine” or “Expo Ultra fine” etc.

You can send this information (along with your location) directly to me OR reply on the group.

Also, if you have never used a pen/marker with TI-Rover, I am curious about the reason why.

Thanks,

- Harshal

I use Expo fine. They fit perfectly and you can buy them in many colors. And you won't lose the lids because they fit on the marker.

I've used Expo fine and sometimes use a rubber band around the "mandibles?" on either side of the ultrasonic sensors to better hold them in place.

Expo fine is the most popular I've seen.
This was the surface I enjoyed at a TI Summit last summer. I normally use a large dry erase board. That would be the only reason I could see why students/teachers would not use a marker - because they don’t have a good surface. Or perhaps they don’t know some of the programming options to write coordinates or plot graphs.
Attached is a Pi Day file and a file I used at a VEX competition.
Also attached are a few other files that the pen has been useful for.
