SmartRF Studio too slow?

Hello everyone,
Just got my TI Chronos 433MHz.
Experimenting with SmartRF Studio, however when i attach the device, "Device Control Panel" works really slow.
Is this normal? Seems like communication takes too long with the watch.
Any ideas?
