Battery on or off with White PCB?

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if i should keep battery when programming/flashing my Chronos ez430 with white PCB?

I read mixed responses about this.

If i plug the watch without battery and when i debug in Code Composer Studio, screen is blank.

But if i repeat same process with battery, screen appears.

Any idea?

Hi Tamer.
I keep battery when programming, because without battery the bottons dont work in debugging mode.
