This is an open meeting but we really need to work through some matters as soon as possible. We may not come to a resolution, but we can get the ball rolling before we meet again in October.
AGENDA
1. Transition: Thank you, Jeff Hamilton for your two years of service on TNCC. Thank you, Rachel Oram for being our rep, and congrats on becoming the new PTO President.Kristen Cella to TNCC PTO Representative position.
2. Overview of meeting with AAPS - Praveena R
3. Decisions to make
1. Oak Savanna: Relocation options of the oak trees. Colin is doing an inventory of the larger trees to move. Amy is checking with the OHAC Board for the possibility of moving some onto their property. - Colin B
2. Shed: Relocating the shed is important. Move to a location of our choice or near the Thurston Elm veg gardens. The School will build its own shed (Location TBD, maybe near OHAC side? ) and offered to share with us or relocate our current. We need someone to contact Tuff Shed to understand if these sheds can and how they could be moved. We also need to decide the location.
3. Signage and Kiosks: We have a few signs (Main and trails) and kiosks that will need to be relocated
4. Rain Garden: Elizabeth has a plan and has emailed the committee. We can vote on this plan at the meeting.
5. Any Concerns: Discuss any other concerns for TNC impact. Note construction of the new Thurston Elementary School building will commence in Spring 2025.
6. Neighborhood Fall Festival Plan (Fall Festival is Oct. 6, from 1pm to 3pm by OHAC Pool)
7. Any other business
