Hi

I've been using the webmail extension for at least 6 months, I
installed the yahoo mail extension also.
Everything was fine the messages downloaded were fine but from a week
to now every new message downloaded from yahoo has a bad enconding,
some message display nothing, some other messages only display
hexadecimal code..

Do you know if yahoo made some changes ?
Or maybe is thunderbird wich recently could be updated?
Perhaps I could download a old version of yahoo mail

Thanks
Hagen

Do you have the email's content-type header

Hi
I solved the issue.
I notice that everytime that I sent a mail to my yahoo account the
yahoo webmail work fine bring the new email into thunderbird, but at
the moment that thunderbid try to present or parse into the gui it
fails presenting the error or not load the message correctly. This
lead me to think that was no the Yahoo webmail extension but the
thunderbird itself that was creating the error, so I delete the MSF
file and then thunderbird recreates the index file and when it
finishes I can read all my mails including the new ones correctly

Maybe at some point the MSF file was corrupted, maybe the thunderbird
crashed and then corrupted the MSF file.
I cannot tell, but now everything is working fine again

Thanks a lot
Hagen

Since I'm currently experiencing a problem with yahoo, I read your
solution to your problem with great interest. Regarding the MSF file,
when I did a search for it, I found a substantial number of them.

Is there one particular one that I need to delete or is the all of
them?

Hi

As you notice thunderbird creates a MSF file for each FOLDER ( Inbox,
Trash, etc )
I have the issue with the Inbox, so I delete the Inbox.msf file.
I close and re-open thunderbird and let that the inbox.msf was created
by thunderbird, some minutes after that I was able to read all the
mails
including the new ones

I hope this would help you

Thanks
Hagen
