AOL mail not working after updating to 1.3.9

Last week all the aol domains were working fine, but the hotmail/live
accounts were failing. After updating today to webmail 1.3.9 &
hotmail 1.2.29, now the hotmail works & all aol domains fail :(

The tb error console reports

AOLPOP.js: loginHandler : Exception : TypeError.
Error message: szResponse.match(kPatternSettings) has no properties

for all aol domain login attempts. Aol addon version is 1.2.16, TB is
2.0.0.23. Not seeing anyone else in the forum having this issue yet,
something new?


AOL Log - XX-XX-XXX-XX....txt looks like it's pulling the page source
fine, then ends with

Any ideas?

Tried to post this as a reply to another conversation, but it
vanished. Apologies if it double posts.

Thanks for WebMail. Usually I just wait out login problems until new
versions resolve them, this is the first time that fixing one seemed
to break the other...

I had the same problem last weekend. After looking at the log files
I've found the problem and the solution.

Go to this url:
https://my.screenname.aol.com/_cqr/login/login.psp?sitedomain=sns.webmail.aol.com&lang=en&seamless=novl&offerId=newmail-en-us-v2&authLev=0&siteState=ver%3A4|rt%3ASTANDARD|at%3ASNS|ld%3Awebmail.aol.com|uv%3AAOL|lc%3Aen-us|mt%3AAOL|snt%3AScreenName|sid%3Adeef541a-c377-46f1-b3cf-3b9ddc8156e0&locale=us

Login to your webmail account with your mail.com address and password.
On the next screen, you will see some captcha code you have to type.
After doing this, you will see your mailbox and the webmail extention
will work again. I guess it's some security measure from aol.com. I
had to do this only once.
