I have ran into strange problem when forwarding email form my hotmail
inbox this afternoon. On the receiving end I get a notice from AVG
email that mail was undeliverable. Negative vibes from the hotmail
account was the notice. When I checked my mailboxes the return email
showed up in my default send account which is webmail gmail. I change
the default to the hotmail smtp and still get the same message. I have
forwarded mail from the gmail inbox and it is is doing fine on the
same messages.

I have no problem forwarding from the online hotmail site.

TB 3.1, Webmail 1.3.7, Hotmail 1.2.26
Windows 2000 Pro
AVG 9.0

Another thing of interest is that the undeliverable message is showing
up the email inbox that was sent to but wasn't actually received; just
showing the undeliverable message in that inbox. One account that sent
to was regular pop3 account. This is not making much sense to me but
thinking on it. Could it be because upgraded to version TB 3.1?

Here is copy of the message:

This is the AVG E-mail Scanner program.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned

May have mis understood what was being sent. I am having strange
problem my hotmail ext and the webmail author was needing a copy of my
log files. It isn't a fix for the AOL addon. Please check with the
webmail author and he may what to see a copy of your log files.

Please note your log files will contain passwords and should not be
shared with just anyone. I haven't had problems receiving from my
mail.com linuxmail.org account but I haven't setup my outing smtp for
that account yet; since a recent crash of 4 systems here. Just too
busy with my business lately; I still got to build two more systems
when I get the time.

I would re-check your account settings as something may have got
changed without your knowledge; although, this maybe unlikely.

I do not want to try to shut out anyone but ICQmail has absolutely
nothing to do with the way that these Webmail add-ons translate HTML
connections to POP/SMTP for Hotmail/Yahoo/Gmail etc.

Alan,

We have gotten off the initial subject of this post which is a
forwarding email problem from the Hotmail addon.

The problem with ICQmail is most likely conversion problem on AOL side
or something in the AOL addon. I see the AOL other email such as
mail.com and linuxmail.org accounts lockup every now and then as AOL
is converting them to its site and are making other changes to their
web pages.

Hello,

Well, regarding icqmail, the problem only started when I upgraded the AOL add-on to the latest version, so it stands to reason that something changes in the add-on causing it to stop working with icamail, not some changes on AOL's side.
Can I get hold and older version of this add-on and see if icqmail works with it again?

Thanks!
