Webmail Gmail doesn't mark downloaded mails as read

I'm using WebMail 1-4-5 with GMail 0.7.3 with ThunderBird 8. My
problem is that when I download mails, they stay as unread messages in
GMail.

I have tested with old and new GMail interface and the problem
remains.

Does anyone know a solution for this?

I've got checked the "Archive instead of delete" check in WebMail-
Gmail options.

This occurs only since some days ago.

Google may have changed something, do you have the gmail log files
(see webmail options panel)
