Yahoo Mail does not work

Same thing for me.

Hotmail.com works but not Yahoo.ca mail

Mac OSX 10.5.4
Thunderbird 2.0.0.16
WebMail 1.3.2 (Servers set to 35110, 35025, 35143)
WebMail - Yahoo 1.3.4
WebMail - Hotmail 1.2.18
WebMail - GMail 0.6.0

yahoo-mail-account is set to 35110 on ...@yahoo.ca

Can you try switching the mode the Yahoo extension is using (see
options panel)

Switching to "New Classic WebSite" did the trick.
