Ok, this is going to be a little tricky, but maybe the following information helps: While MAGIX is no longer selling the releases of this older "Soundpool DVD Collection" series as entire soundpool bundles, a lot of the constituent soundpools are still available through Catooh. For those soundpools, the original name and the Soundpool DVD Collection they came from are listed in the item description. So, this should enable you to, more or less reliably, run a search for the name of the soundpool collection on Catooh.com (e.g. "Soundpool DVD Collection 7"), then limit the search to the "Soundpools" category, and then switch over to the "Description" tab of the desired item to confirm the details as to what collection the item originated from etc.

Please keep in mind that MAGIX completely changed the naming conventions for the soundpools (including the older ones) a few years ago, going with a somewhat more catchy song title for each pool. This list will help you navigate the new soundpool titles:

Depends on what exactly you're after. If you're looking for individual loop names, I'm afraid there's no such list that I have access to. I did manage to grab a little table of contents off an internal document, which details the soundpool names and directory structure on those eight early soundpool collections. You can find it below. Maybe this is of any help.

after doing some research on the topic of being able to sell music tracks commercially which are produced using Magix music maker and its soundpool loops I came to know that if I buy the Pro Audio Unlimited License for the Soundpools then I am allowed to sell my music tracks commercially... (standard or advanced licenses are not sufficient to sell tracks made commercially An Unlimited License is only whats needed)

Now my question is I am using an older version on Magix Music Maker 13 and I have the Best of Soundpool Collection Volume 1 so want to know where on catooh or anywhere can I buy the Audio Unlimited License for this Sound pool collection Vol 1

Just one more thing on this topic: I wasn't completely sure as to exactly which product you have. You mentioned something about this being the "Best of Soundpool Collection" in your message (rather than just "Soundpool Collection Volume 1"). If this is indeed the case, and you're referring to the product pictured here, you actually wouldn't need any additional commercial license. Any content included on that "best of" collection, which is derived from MAGIX Music Maker and soundpool DVD collection from the generations 2005 to generation 16, is already cleared for commercial use. It doesn't require the purchase of any add-on licenses.

I love using soundpools! I usually purchase them directly from the soundpools dock within Music Maker, but today I purchased one from producerplanet.com. It was described as an "ACID Loop Collection." I downloaded and extracted the zip file, and manually moved it to C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools\Shop to be with all my soundpools, thinking it would appear the next time I launched Music Maker. It never showed up, so I used the "Add new Soundpools" tool from the Loops options gear, and tried selecting various levels within the file hierarchy. Then I "Rescanned Soundpools" from the Program Settings gear. My new collection is .wav files, so I changed my preferred soundpool format to .wav and went around again. It still doesn't show up. I updated my software, reset my program settings, but nothing has helped. Maybe the collection I purchased is just not compatible with Music Maker? I am using Music Maker version 30.0.4.44, and I am very sad.

@theflyingcelery You can try to make them show up in the Loops manager by creating a BPM.inf file (copy one BPM.inf from another Magix Soundpool and just change the tempo information inside it ), and placing the loops in subfolders named after instrument groups like it's done in Magix Soundpools.

That's pretty slick! My loops collection contains files at a variety of tempos, so I'll have to manually split them up, but that totally worked! Thanks! I've also tried dragging files directly from windows explorer, and haven't had any serious complaints with that method either. ?

I was just wondering does anyone know where it would be possible to purchase the first few Sould pools released by magix. There is a particular 1 I am looking for, that I must have bought it 8 - 10 years ago. I beleive it had a red / wine colored cover, but also had grey sections for logo and product description.

The samples are no longer on my drive either, as had an issue with my PC prior going into storage and was planning on reconnecting path directories from my songs to the samples today by using the CD but was nowhere to be found.

I couldn't find and photo for a Soundpool 1. Perhaps they only had the individual CD's for the first release and went to "collections" after that. If someone has one of these "mini" soundpools CD's, they could look to see if it has a date on it,

Thank all for the help. It must be the 1st soundpool I am looking for, as it looks similar to 2 posted below. I have searched amazon and ebay Ireland, Uk, Germany and USA but to no avail. Can you think of any other websites that might sell?

Hi,

It will be much better if you could recall any particular information about that CD Rom, that will be helpful in searching. Such as, style, Techno, Hard, Hiphop etc. From where did you buy that?

I believe was orgainised that each similar sample that was a continuation of the last would be grrouped togther like "ChoirAA, ChoirAB. Choir AC" then the next group samples would be "ChoirBA Choir BB, Choir BC"

I googled some the lyrics I put into below post, and up came lyrics to a song called earthquake by an artist(s) KAZE O2SE. they have the exact same rap sampled with fatser tempo as what i got from cd I am looking for. They have it posted on you tube. they however would appear to be Japanese and mis heard some of the lyrics on rap and so the lyrics they have writen on their video do not always meet what being said.

Anyway please see below 2 links, one to you tube, the second to google search i did on band name. the search threw up mostly what I assume are japanese websites, which i can not read. Would it be possible for you to have a look to see if they give any info as to the cd they sampled from?

Just to note the format or how samples organised is slightly different that what I originaly advised. they ae organised as follows. Each similar sample that was a continuation of the last would be grrouped togther like "Choir01A, Choir01B, Choir01C" the next rouping would be "Choir02A Choir02B Choir02C" and so on.

The preview of sample has exactlly the lyrics I am looking for however, there is a drum loop mixed with it. Is this just for presentation of sample or when I down load are rap samples already mixed with other samples.
