Serenity/JUnit @Steps methods with webdriver calls in @After

Hello,
 If a @Step method failed in a Junit @Test would we be able to use @Step methods with webdriver calls in @After methods. Please can you advice.  Currently I am not able to. @Step methods in @After are also skipped.

@Step methods cannot know from where they are being called, so if you want to perform an action in the @After that is always called, just use a non-@Step method.
