Integrating Serenity Test with HP ALM/QC

Has anybody tried to integrate your Serenity test with HP ALM.
For example: updating the completed test status at HP QC/ALM or creating defects whenever there's a failure like we do with JIRA.

If anyone has experience on this? Please let me know, really appreciate your kind support.

Last time I tried HP QC is quite a closed system (no REST API, very Windows-specific etc) and integrating anything it is quite hard.
