In Memoriam: Mamie McGee

Dear GSTDL Community:

We are saddened to report the recent passing of one of GSTDL's founding members and long-time student, Mamie McGee. Mamie was one of the first students of the late Geshe Tsultim Gyeltsen, and helped purchase the center when it was located in Los Angeles's neighboorhood, Koreatown. Many of us remember Mamie for her warm welcome, especially those who were new to the Dharma and the center. We send our heartfelt condolences to her surviving husband, Merle McGee, and her daughter, Dr Melinda Lee.
