Nyung Ne Retreat to be Offered March 24, 25, 26

Dear Dharma Friends,

The Nyung Ne purification retreat will be offered at Gaden Shartse
Thubten Dhargye Ling The weekend of March 23 - 26
One must have Refuge Vows to participate.
Following is the schedule for the retreat:

FRIDAY March 23, Refuge vows and Introduction 7:30 - 8pm
Geshe Phuntsok Gyaltsen will give new students refuge vows.
(older students are welcome to renew their vows)

8pm - 9pm Introduction to a Nyung Ne Retreat - this is for new
students who would like to participate in the Nyung Ne Retreat at
GSTDL on the following Sat., Sun, and Mon. This short introduction
will give you information on what to expect during a Nyung Ne Retreat.

SATURDAY March 24 (5am - 5pm)
First day of Nyung Ne – Vows must be taken before sunrise. Please be
on time. Doors will open at 4:45 am. There will be a break before noon
so that you can have a meal.

SUNDAY March 25 ( 5am - 5pm)
Second day of Nyung Ne – Vows need to be taken before sun rise. Please
be on time. Doors will open at 4:45 am. On this day we fast and are
silent

MONDAY March 26 (5am - 8:30am)
(NO VOWS TODAY) We will do a short session of the Nyung Ne practice
and break our fast with a light breakfast served in the residence.
