M24 Area Contests

Dear fellow Toastmasters

 

The District Area Contests are being held on 29^th  November 5.15-7pm and 2^nd December 5.15-7pm and three of our members will be competing. 

 

The first competition will be held on Monday 29^th November at Level 4, 100 Queen Street (ANZ Building) Melbourne and it will be the Evaluation and International Contest.  Our club competitors will be Colin Lewis for Evaluation and Mark Pope for International so it would be great if we could get as many people to attend as possible to support our club members.  Please contact shanta....@transport.vic.gov.au if you can attend as it is a secure building and they need to provide the concierge with a list of names.

 

The second competition will be held on Thursday 2^nd December (venue to be decided but will be in the city) 5.15-7pm and it will be a Table Topics and Humourous contest.  Our club competitors will be Colin Lewis for Table Topics and Krishna Venkataraman for Humourous.

 

If anyone can assist at the 2^nd competition please let Shanta know.

 

The Committee meeting scheduled for the 2^nd December will be rescheduled and we will advise the committee shortly.

 

I hope you can attend and support our club competitors in the M24 Area Contests.

Note that there is a limit to the number of guests, since the room
only holds around 25 people, so if you want to watch the contest,
please RSVP to Shanta....@transport.vic.gov.au as early as
possible, otherwise you may miss out. Also, the doors will be closed
once the contest has begun at 5:15.
