Xmas function survey results

Hi everyone
We had 20 responses out of 25 members which is great. The Xmas function for Thursday 9th December can now be organized.
The results were:
1. Majority wanted dinner at an outside venue with partners/friends. (Close 2nd was a special event at the ACS offices)
2. CBD area preferred or close by.
3. Subsidised to $10 per member (not including guests)
4. Cost $30 per head but closely followed by up to $40-$50 per head
5. Majority want speech/es included for the night.
6. Ten people said they would organize/assist.
So next step is to establish the organizing committee for the event. If the ten people who responded Yes can contact me on pam.b...@acs.org.au I can set up a list so you can get together and work on the function organisation for the 9 December. Please note I do not want to be involved in the organizing committee and will be happy with whatever is finalized.
It is really important to get a venue booked asap as it is always a busy time of the year. We also need to establish approximate numbers as this will be the main question from the venue and will also affect costs.
