A few questions to answer before posting:
What does the error say?
Does it have an error code? e.g 0x0000008e
Which Software Version are you using? e.g Office 2003
What is the make and model of the hardware? Epson R300 printer etc.
What was the last thing you did or installed before the problem started?
What have you already done?
This is an interesting academic challenge, but the gent remembered an old
laptop in the closet. This scanner has drivers for it, so we are going to
hook that up for scanning to avoid the problem.
Thanks to everyone who has sent information on this.

I cant ever see a reason to be using two scanners at the same time on
one
machine but I think that one instance of a USB scanner is incorrect. I
know
of post where someone has a Canon LIDE 70 and a LIDE 80 installed; both
these scanners are USB.
Not being able to use two scanners at the same time is probably
correct and
does seem logical, but having two or more scanners installed
wouldnt/shouldnt be a problem as far as I can see and not being able
to do
this would defeat the object of USB in the first place I.e. USB is Hot
Swappable.
Im going to test this out tomorrow. Ill get my sisters USB scanner and
plug them both in. I have a little Canon LIDE 30 and she has an Epson
perfection. Ill also ring my friend up later as he has Film and a Slide
scanner attached but Im not sure they are both USB.
The only issue I can see would be driver conflict if using shared files.
i.e. if a driver overwrites a .dll file and basically corrupts that
.dll for
the other scanner driver. I personally would uninstall the HP AIO drivers
and software uninstall the cyber drivers too if possible. Reboot and
install
the Cyber scanner first, reboot and then reinstall the HP AIO. Another
alternative is to install windows 2000 drivers instead of the XP
version. I
know it seems odd but it has worked for me in the past.
The obvious option for me would be to install both separately, so that
the
drivers are at least installed ok, then reboot XP and leave the one you
dont want to use turned off or unplugged. Use it for a while, then
when you
want to use the other scanner try turning the one you are using off
and then
turn the unused one on. To me that seems the easiest way.

Newest drivers dont always mean best, unless there is a reason to update a
driver, like to fix an issue or have greater functionality dont! Many
people upgrade their graphic card drivers only to find games etc crash, or
the frame rate drops.
Yes, a download is available for the CyberView CS - Memor-ease software. Instructions on how to use the software may vary depending on the version and device used. It is recommended to refer to the user manual or online resources for guidance.
With Cyberview driver and software installed, loader.exe appears not to execute. I'm running Windows 10, does that prevent execution, and if so,will this software run only on windows 7 and earlier? Compatibility modes do not let it work either.
You have to visit the official website to identify your product and then download the drivers and the software for your operating systems. I've browsed through the selections and it appears that the drivers and the software for the supported products have Windows 10 compatibility.
I have Adobe Elements 4 and they are now at 9. The program keeps asking me for a password and I have no password. I did not register the program when I download it and now I have no idea how to register. What can I do?
Unfortunately, you can't register your product anymore because it is an old one that is no longer supported. If you want, you can upgrade it to the latest version. In this way, you will receive a password that will help you to activate the product. Navigate to the official web page, click the first yellow Upgrade now button, select Photoshop Elements 4 from the I own drop down list and follow the on-screen instructions. The upgrading price will be around 79.99 dollars.
I'm trying to get a Reflecta Crystalscan 7200 film scanner (seems to be the same as the prime film 7250u) to work with lion. It requires a cyberview driver that isn't the legacy power-pc version. It also appears to need some kind of firmware upgrade that i can't install because i can't get to the driver interface because lion won't recognise the scanner. Any help greatfully received. I'd hate to give up scanning film.
When I verified my apps to see which were PowerPC and wouldn't run under Lion, I found that Cyberview X SF was one of them. There was no information in Reflecta's support page for when Cyberview X SF would be ported to Lion, but I remeber reading in Pacific Image's support page for the PrimeFilme 7250u that there would be a new version of Cyberview X SF "in the summer".
Hello, Unfortunately changes to this new OS will make some scanner models obsolete PrimeFilm Series 1800u, 1800i & 1800 Silver 2700u 3600u 1800AFL 1800LAB 3600Pro 3610AFL PowerSlide series PS3600 Scanners with Digital ICE technology, will be supported with the release of Cyberview X 5.0 late summer early fall 2011, which will be available for free download Driver Updates
MAC OS LION will be supported on these models in the near future, we are hoping for release before the end of the year, drivers will be posted online once available for the following models: PrimeFilm Series: 3650u, 7250u, 3650Pro3and 7250Pro3
