Withthe use of MU-MIMO technology and high-gain dual 5Dbi antennas, the WiFi adapter can supply two simultaneous data streams. When several compatible clients are online, MU-MIMO technology increases connection speed. This can greatly increase the overall network throughput and capacity when used with a compatible MU-MIMO router.

Yes, this WiFi adapter is compatible with Windows XP, as well as Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10, and 11.What is the range of the external 5dBi antenna included with the CXFTEOXK H108?The external 5dBi antenna helps improve signal strength and coverage, providing an extended wireless range.

Is there a way to load the driver for this USB WIFI adapter during Arch install? I am new to linux but have Linux Mint installed on one of my drives and I wish to try Arch on another drive for testing.

Iwctl might just not list devices because the driver uses an older interface rather than the new one, check with wpa_supplicant/nmcli - check dmesg/lsusb -t whether really no driver is loaded or the one that is loaded simply doesn't work with iwctl.

I am using Kali Linux on my laptop and my laptop's internal Wi-Fi adapter is not working, so I have an external USB adapter. Now after the installation I plug my Wi-Fi adapter and Linux is not showing it and I also don't know how to install its driver so help me what should I do in this situation.

Again, I suggest following the Arch wiki - Wireless network configuration, which provides a fantastic way to solve your issue. This goes for general Linux issues as well. It is very easy to follow and it is aimed at beginners and proficient users alike.

What I did was to open the usb by removing the orange plastic from above, you have to pull it up, it will break, no problem. (before opening it you have to remove the part of the antenna, once open, you have to clean the board with isopropyl alcohol, if you see something like it is unclean or a sticker residual take it off with a kind of screwdriver you have to scrape it gently and then clean everything with a brush and isopropyl alcohol. After that, when the board is dry, you have to connect the usb to the antenna and then to the pc. It will detect the usb and install the driver, (I have windows 10) In the driver options you have to select " do not allow this adapter to go to sleep" or something like that, it goes with a check that must be unchecked. That was it, I hope it helps. I looked everywhere and it was a hardware problem

I recently got an Archer T6E 1300AC and I'm having trouble connecting to my 5GHz network. My router is providing 2.4GHz as well as 5Ghz access. When I disable 2.4GHz, the card connects to the 5GHz network just fine, I'm struggling however to force it to use 5GHz when both 2.4GHz and 5GHz are enable (I cannot permanently disabel 2.4GHz as there are other devices relying on it). I'm using Win 10 64-bit Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362.

I ended up installing the Broadcom 4360 drivers or 43xx for Windows 10 from a 3rd party site, driver-wireless.com. Once installed, look under the Advanced tab in the Device Manager properties for the card, there is an option for "Band Preference". I set that to 'Prefer 802.11a' instead of 'None' and it instantly connected to my 5 Ghz network. Thinking they meant 802.11ac... 'a' is very old standard.

I am using the latest driver I can find: Broadcom BCM4352 v7.35.336.0 driver (dated 7 dec 2015), found somewhere on Microsoft Windows Catalog web page. Probably the same as you are referring to. Still, no option in the network adapter driver advanced settings to select 'Preferred Band' and put it on 5Ghz...

I was having issue reaching my 5GHz network. 2.4GHz was working fine. Got to the solution, so I decided to register and post my solution here, this way other people can try it and maybe get it fixed too!

I tried so many drivers and so many settings without success. In the end I found out that the Archer T6e on Windows 10 will only work on certain channels for 5GHz connections (at least on my experience).

It worked for me with the Broadcom 43xx driver which I downloaded from driver-wireless.com, but I believe it would also work with the other drivers, and that the problem is actually the channel compatibility. I didn't change the settings at all.

Bonus: I downloaded the "Wifi Analyzer" app on my phone (Android) so I could see a channel that wouldn't be already taken by a neighbor's network, despite knowing that 5GHz networks from my neighbors wouldn't probably go far enough to make any interference.

Hi Bro, SIP has to be disabled for the installation and stay disabled as long as you use the app, if you enable SIP at any time Sonoma pops up a message that the app is damaged and should be move to the Bin.

With all the so called success I have yet to see a complete setup that gives all the Apple Services like the Fenvi T-919 and I don't mind being proven wrong. Without those extra RTWlan kexts, I got the message no USB Dongle detected but if you say no extra kexts need adding, I am only reporting the results on my MSI Z490.

trying to install sonoma from usb installer onto empty drive. using latest opencore version and kexts for installer EFI. can boot my ventura os drive using this EFI but installer loops and log shows it is stuck on this line "com.apple.xpc.launchd2023-02-16 18:26:07.798719 (system)

I really am not going to argue against or defunct the app, but in testing when I got the message 'No USB Dongle plugged in' I tried other ports (which would be the obvious thing to do) and it made no difference.

Another thing, after I got the app working, I removed the extra kexts to see if they are needed, rebooted cleared Nvram and again the message 'No USB Dongle plugged in' I put the kexts back and the app works.

Sonoma is still Beta 1 so there's hope a more viable solution will be offered, if not I will continue to use Ventura as a daily driver and keep Sonoma as a plaything until the plug is completed pulled on Hacks because of the changes by Apple.

I am not in any way claiming my testing was scientifically done or methodical, I just ordered a bunch of Dongles and went about trying them and managed to get two Realtek ones to work, I chose the one that offered dual bands 2.4 and 5.8.

I kept the 5.8 one for maybe future use and raised a return order for the others. I whole heartily applaud all those who installed the app and are happy with the results. With that being said, that is my last journey on USB Dongles in Sonoma.
