Document level security?

Hi Guys,

Just spent the day researching various search engine / document store solutions. ThriftDB seems like a great balance of convenience and function!

Do you have plans to integrate any document level permissions filtering? maybe using ManifoldCF with Solr?

Hi Richard,

Glad to hear you like ThriftDB! Currently we don't have document-level permissions but it's possible to make a bucket private and implement your own permissions system by routing client requests through your server.

Can you give me an example of the type of document-level filtering that you are trying to implement?
