New Feature Suggestion ! :)

Hello ThriftDB Team.

I have been reviewing some things on ThriftDB and IndexTank for my
personal project and I must say I liked ThriftDB more though not sure
about the pricing thing though as they havn't announced it yet.

Here is something which I feel would be good to have on ThriftDB:
searching the items based on geolocation. Though not needed for every
schema, it would be highly useful particularly dealing with items
having a physical location. for e.g comparing a list of companies
(they all have physical location).

Its already there in IndexTank (http://indextank.com/documentation/
tutorial-geolocation) and this is something which is troubling me to
select between IndexTank and ThriftDB as I liked IndexTank for this
one reason and liked ThriftDB for everything else.

It would be great to have such feature on ThriftDB.

Thanks for the feedback! It's great to hear you like ThriftDB so far.

We're definitely interested in adding geolocation to ThriftDB we've just been focused on other features right now.

Do you need geolocation for the projects you are working on currently?

Glad to know that geo-location is in your list already. Anyways, I
just wanted to ask if you have plan for it but I dont need it
immediately.

Hi Rakesh,

We definitely have plans to add geo-location in the future but we're prioritizing features based on user demand. Just let us know when you need geo-location for the app you're working on.
