Kidderminster Town Council, in partnership with Wyre Forest District Council successfully secured 8 million in funding to carry out capital works that will transform Kidderminster Town Hall. This funding is part of Funded by UK Government Grant of 17.9m which will be used to improve Kidderminster town centre for the community.

The first successful bid was granted in 2019 in the sum of 49,700 for investigative works on the condition of the Town Hall and to explore potential development options to secure a sustainable future and make it more accessible to all.
