TTTableItemCell subclass: how to inset cells to have a background image between them?

Hello

I have a TTTableItemCell subclass working, but the only thing I don't
understand is how to inset cells to have a background image visible
between them.
I tried Styles but I don't have a clue so far.

I'm a complete noob...

[self.tableView setBackgroundColor:[UIColor clearColor]];
[self.tableView setSeparatorStyle:UITableViewCellSeparatorStyleNone];
[self.tableView setIndicatorStyle:UIScrollViewIndicatorStyleWhite];

and then customize the cell...
