Hey gang,
I recently read a column in the NY Times written David Streitfeld and
published on July 10, 2009. What caught my attention is the paragraph
where the author writes that "Members of Congress are proposing to
extend and enlarge an $8,000 credit for first-time buyers which is due
to expire in December". He added that "One bill would extend the
credit to all buyes through June. Another would extend it to all
buyers through 2010. A third would expand it to $15,000 for all
buyers". As a mortgage lender representative who continue to look for
affordable mortgage programs for home buyers, my reaction was a big
WOW! I could envision a lot more people purchasing & refinancing homes
if any of the three bills that Mr. Streitfeld referred to becomes law.
