Hey, I'm new to Tarot readings and have found that I have a hard time interpreting the cards correctly. The meanings from the guidebook sometimes seem vague or don't match the questions I'm asking. How do you build confidence in your interpretations? Are there techniques or resources you recommend for connecting more deeply with the cards?

It takes time to gain confidence with Tarot, so don't worry if you find it too difficult at first. One thing that helped me a lot was keeping a journal. After pulling out the cards, I would write down the meanings from the guidebook as well as my personal feelings about each card. Over time, I noticed patterns and connections that made the cards more intuitive. Another tip: try using simple layouts, such as three cards. Too many cards can lead to information overload, especially for beginners.

Hello!  I completely understand where you’re coming from. When I started, I felt the same way. One thing that made a huge difference for me was learning to trust my intuition more. Sometimes, the “official” meaning of a card doesn’t fully fit the situation. When that happens, I try to focus on the imagery, symbols, or feelings the card evokes. As for resources, I’d highly recommend checking out all tarot card meanings guide https://tarotatlas.com/cards. It’s super comprehensive and breaks things down in an easy-to-digest way. Tarot is as much about personal growth and exploration as it is about predictions. Every reading you do adds to your experience and deepens your connection to the cards.
