anything.

So, here's what I propose:

Um, I'm forgetting some stuff.

I just back from a Revels rehearsal about an hour ago, and practicing for May Revels is going to continue to take up most of my free time for the next two weeks. So I have simply not given much thought to this. Also, I don't have email during the day, so don't expect much from me in the way of conversation on this tomorrow.

Anyway, here's what I have so far:

Investigate engram board (lead, since this board was given to Dr. Sim, and head of Comp. Sci)

Also - investigate tachyons and daedales sabotage.

Sam Buckman asked us to check our records.  Some h bombs were stolen from a Russian submarine.  He wanted to see if Apophis had used them on the Technosphere.  He suggested we check digital records.  I told him I did not think many were left - and most of us have 2 spare h bombs in our labs - but he wanted us to check anyway.

Investigate/Repair Daedalus Sabotage - distinct from Security and Government, specifically to address the damage that occurred during the meeting.

Research TL7 devices recovered from Berkley by SGM Masters - the two devices other than the Engram board

 

Also, we should alert John Cooke/Sec. Starke to assist on Daedalus Security and Government.

 

For paperwork purposes, who is lead on these? I suggest SP/Archibald for the purposes of filing BGAs, even though Bethany is taking a public position, I'm working to reincarnate the university, etc. These are all group efforts, and I do not believe we are in any way working to cross purposes.

Here are my BGAs as filed, for your edification. As appropriate, I have named Devin Archibald as the lead for many of these, as his name is the easiest to find in the drop down menu ;) Most are addressed to Kirt.

 

The Sedona one is personal - I just dislike slavery, and people attacking the JET. Also, it's a technomage BGA that goes to someone OTHER than Kirt.

Group - Daedalus Omnibus - 1 pt.

Catchall for the improvements/changes to help the population of the Daedalus transition to a stable society. Includes the discussion during 'Daedalus Revolt' scene at Feral Detroit, as well as later discussions. Involves setting up a temporary government, vetting police force, etc.  

Group - Daedalus Security & Gvmt - 1 pt.

Setup temporary police force with the assistance of Sec. Starke of Rising Sun to alleviate the immediate security concerns of the Daedalus population. Work to create a viable judiciary and representative legislative congress for self-government of the Daedalus. Most likely entails a constitutional congress, ratification of a Constitution by popular vote, and elections held in short order.     

 
Group - Daedalus Training & Economy - 2 pts.

Training and infrastructure to transition the Daedalus population from post-scarcity utopia to a productive economy on par with other TL7 powers. Requires training in manufacturing and service industries, creation of additional manufacturing equipment, Preserve Tech to operate outside the Daedalus, etc. Achieved through a combination of high tech memory implants coupled with good old fashioned hard work. As appropriate, restart UC-Berkley and the Technomage training program, with an emphasis on allowing more individuals to join for productive/useful skills, rather than as a byproduct of deep theoretical understanding. (For flavor, 'Practical Technomancy 101' vs. 'How the Universe Works 764')     

 
Investigate - Investigate/Repair Daedalus Sabotage - 1 pt.

Determine the source/cause of sabotage to primary Daedalus systems, and repair damaged subsystems to ensure continued operation and security.     

Research - Research TL7 devices recovered from Berkley by SGM Masters - 1 pt.

Two devices, one an 'eye', the other a non-descript black box.
 

Research - Research the tachyon emitting devices recovered during the 'Misgates' scene. - 1 pt.
Includes a 'barely TL7' hypertech device, as well as a chessboard capable of summoning/attracting ghosts.   
 

Group - Apply Diplomatic Pressure to Sedona regarding the incident at the Feral Detroit deployment where an abused refugee was granted political asylum, only to be taken by agents of Sedona who attacked the Patron spirit of Detroit. Utilizes a BGA point refunded by KAD after the last BGA period.
