YES- There will be OPEN ADJUSTING on Monday (which is Memorial Day.)

Thank you to all our veterans for all their service, especially those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.  We don't always necessarily agree with U.S. foreign policy or military decisions but do appreciate all who have chosen to serve.  In honor of the holiday we will have the BBQ stoked in the back and will relax a little bit, but subluxations don't take days off and we're not taking this one either.

Folks that know us may also know that when we’re not fully engaged as chiropractic philosophers, scientists, and artists we like our hobbies too- the arts, the gardens, the bikes, and the sales.  Our ‘Date Night’ is typically Friday Mornings—the kids are in school, and Open Adjusting doesn’t begin until the afternoon.  We may go for a bicycle ride or we may hit a sale (if we’re lucky we hit a sale while we’re on our bike ride.)  It might be a garage sale, a block sale, a yard sale, or our favorite: the Rummage Sale.  For what it is worth: the First United Methodist Churches have the best Rummage Sales (we got the church pew in the waiting area for $10 at a FUMC Rummage Sale.)  Also for what it is worth, we love a smooth ride so we fill our tires with free air from Al Petri and Sons bicycle shop.  Seriously, when we consistently MAINTAIN our air pressure weekly by ADJUSTING it upward (bike inner tubes don’t hold air pressure as well as car tires) our neighborhood bike rides are much more enjoyable.

Free Air and Rummage Sales have something in common: everybody benefits.  When a bike shop gives free air, the bicyclists on the street can stop in and fill-up, in turn the riders who are also potential customers get to see what the shop has for sale and are more likely to return when they need parts or repairs.  When a church has a Rummage Sale its parishioners donate stuff they don’t want or need any more and the church sells the stuff to other folks who do want or need the stuff.  Everybody benefits: the folks get rid of stuff, create space, get stuff, feel good for helping their church, get a tax write-off, and the church gets needed funding.

Rummage Sales and chiropractic care have something in common too:  With consistent visits, the potential benefit increases.  If only there were a chiropractic fee system that assured folks could be adjusted as often as they chose… one that encouraged them to bring their friends and family who would benefit too… one that allowed the chiropractor to give, love, and serve out of abundance and provide care for everyone regardless of their condition or ability to pay?

(we think that would be awesome...)

Happy Friday!  Have a great weekend,

-Todd and Kelly
