YourEpson printer is not working and not printing over Wi-Fi or wirelessly? The Epson workforce 845 will no longer connect to your computer? The Epson scanner does not have a driver? Then you need to update Epson drivers. If you have an Epson product, such as printers, All-in-ones, professional Imaging, scanners, projectors, Laser, etc. and they are not working properly, the first and also the most important thing you should do is to check if the drivers are outdated, broken, missing, corrupted or incompatible.

An out-of-date, broken or incorrect Epson driver will cause your Epson device out of work, and you will encounter driver conflicts issues and computer bad performance. To fix Epson driver problems and to make your Epson devices work, you need to check driver issues and download the best-matched Epson drivers with professional Epson driver update utility. I am currently using an Epson printer (XP-970) with my older (Intel) MacBook Pro, and am considering upgrading to the new 16-inch M1 MBP when it is released in the next month or so. When I checked the compatibility of the Epson print drivers and utilities in the "Get Info" screen, they all indicate they are "Intel" apps, rather than "Universal", and therefore not designed to run on Macs with the M1 chip.

Does anyone know whether the Rosetta software that comes with the M1-equipped Macs is sufficient to seamlessly run all my printing functions from the Epson? Do I have any other options other than buying a different printer or buying a new MBP with the old Intel chip?

Thanks very much for your reply, it makes me feel a little more confident about buying the M1 MBP (of course, I'd feel even better about it if someone currently using a Mac with an M1 chip chimes in).
