We inadvertantly left Eddie Gluck off our initial mailing. Apologies!
Neighbors
Thornhill will be electing a new Board of
Directors at the Annual Meeting next week, on Wednesday, November
4.
We thought you might like to support candidates
who were instrumental in helping block the speed hump initiative. Those
candidates are:
Scott
Black Alfred
Gallimore Eddie Gluck Lee
Griffin Larry Starnes
In addition to speaking out against speed
humps, these candidates were strong advocates for transparency in Board
operations, such as open committee participation by members, timely
communication, and community voting on topics that impact everyone.
We hope that you will be able to attend the
meeting and vote in person. In the event that you are not able to make
the meeting, filling out a proxy ensures that your vote
counts. (Remember, even if you fill out a proxy ahead of time, you can still come
to the meeting, reclaim your proxy and vote in
person.)
To submit a proxy, please print and sign the attached form, put it in your mailbox and contact us to pick it up by Monday, November 1. We'll get the original to the Board Secretary by the deadline of Tuesday, November 3, and be sure your votes for these candidates are cast.
NOTE: If you have already submitted a
proxy, and have changed your mind as to who
should cast your vote, simply fill out a new proxy and date it "November 3" (the proxy with the most recent date
will be the one that is valid the night of the meeting).
****We are aware that speed
hump supporters got an early start collecting proxies, so please take time to
fill out yours and let us know when it's ready for pickup. Let's keep
this issue out of Thornhill for
good!
