All,
Please note that per our covenants, overnight parking on streets is not allowed. City of Alpharetta also has an ordinance that prohibits overnight parking on residential cul-de-sac streets.
Lately, increasing number of cars are being parked on through streets such as Thornbury Way. While it is understandable that street parking is unavoidable with visitors during day time, it should be done in legal and safe manner. There are several instances where cars were parked too far from the curb on both sides with barely enough room for one car to go through. A fire truck certainly would not able to get through in that situation, creating a safety hazard.
Also, please consider the inconvenience and safety issues you are creating to your downstream neighbours when you choose to park your car on the street instead of your own driveway (presumably for your own ease of getting your other cars out). Please be considerate to your neighbours. Your convenience should not cause hardship for others.
Police will be notified of illegally and improperly parked vehicles and they may ticket or tow way such vehicles.
Thanks for understanding.
