Trash Schedule and containers

Just wanted to remind everyone that the trash pickup day is now Thursday (instead of Friday).  

Per covenants, trash containers including recycling bins *and yard waste* can only be placed at the curb between Wednesday evening and Thursday evening. Please note that covenants also require that the containers be hidden from view from the street at all other times.  

We are noticing that trash containers left in driveways and at the curb well beyond the allowed times.  We are also noticing that yard waste left at the curb days in advance of the pickup day.  Please help maintain the upscale appearance of the neighborhood by remove them timely and hiding them from plain sight. Violation letters with fines will be sent.

Also note that we can dispose of bulk trash *for free* by filling out a form on city of Alpharetta website and scheduling a pickup on trash day.  They take pretty much anything other than hazardous materials such as paint and tires.  This includes old furniture, electronics and appliances.
