I vote NO. We moved in to Thornbrook knowing the common facilities we were obligated to support. We never agreed to expanding these common areas. As it is the common areas are frequented by only a fraction of our residents. Those with families...usually under HS age and a few active...mostly tennis.. residents.

I am not in favor of openning the door to higher HOA dues now or down the road to support these "improvements" which I view as "expansions".

Keep the present facilities and grounds in good order. Enforce restrictions in a reasonable manner consistent with the common good. Lobby the City for items that impact Thornbrook. That's pretty much it. HOA representatives...don't feel obligated to spend our money to justify your position..as politician's often do. Do as little as possible and vote for the status quo.

Jim- That was my view the last time around. Every subdivision goes through a life cycle. When young which it is now with the new homes added lately, there is a big demand for pool and parties due to kids needs. As they grow up and out the strain on services drops.
