hi boys!

I am just so happy about this show and excited for it all. (I am going to primarily use the Thora gmail account for correspondence.) We are all set--I met with Seth this morning and talked details. We are all set to do the show:

June 1st & 8th DCT @ 10:30PM

The time slot is not ideal, but we will make it work! I would LOVE your help planning for the show. Thora would close both weeks--we just need to think of acts to book. It should be about 4-5 acts/show. I don't want to hold the audience captive, so id shoot  more for 4 acts + Thora. Other things to think about:

-Getting in touch with Howard Brown re: donations, etc.
-Contacting Press (iO will take care of press release but we still have to fill it out--ive included email from Baz below).
-Getting in touch with performers
-Poster for the show (I already have an idea for a giant picture of Jessica Lange...)

Let's start getting the ball rolling and get e-mails out to performers we are interested in! Lemme know what ya think.

I'll need you to fill out this form. We typically charge $5 for 10:30 shows, but since this is a charity show, you'll need to talk with Charna and Mike Click (mcl...@ioimprov.com) about financials. 

As soon you get the form back to me, we'll start promotions. You'll also want to put together a press release, which we can send from our office if you like.

This is really really wonderful! Thanks for doing this drew! 

Obviously baby wine could take up a segment, but maybe we should get together soon and pull in the names we know. Derek, doing a scene from one of your shows would be Really cool and different! 

Can you guys meet up this weekend?

I'm out of town this weekend for Passover but I'll be back on the 16th. Do we want to pow wow then? I'd like to cement this stuff ASAP. I know its a while away but it seems like Baz wants to get the press release form from us soon & id like to send feelers out to performers ASAP as people book up quickly.

I am free the 16th or anytime that weekend! I agree, getting everything offered out earlier will only make us look better :)

Yep.  I can do the 16th.  It's mine and Kevin's anniversary, but he usually has church on Wednesdays, so I think it will be fine if we meet early-ish.  Maybe 6:30 or some such?

Yes!! I'm excited to catch up! 16th at 630 it is! Where shall we meet? Id offer but in living with Ayala in a studio so it's a no go!
